Holthouse Foundation for Kids gives grants to non-profit, tax exempt organizations as indicated by Section 501 (c) (3) and 509 (a) (1) and (2) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Grants will not be considered for the following purposes:

• Individuals
• Political or legislative causes
• Debt service
• To establish a foundation, trust or interest-bearing account.

Letters of Inquiry

The foundation accepts inquiry letters on an ongoing basis throughout the year, though the letter is not required to make a formal grant application request.
 

Upon receiving your inquiry letter, the foundation will either invite you to submit a formal application or deny your request at that time.
 

Please note, an offer by Holthouse Foundation for Kids to submit a proposal should not be interpreted as a sign of ensuing financial support.

 
Grant Proposals

Grant Proposals are welcome on an ongoing basis throughout the year.
The foundation respectfully asks that the following be submitted with the proposal:

Organization Information

• A description of the organization, its mission and the nature of its purpose.
• A detailed description of the proposed project or activity.

Financial Information

• Current organizational operating budget
• Budget for specific program to be funded by HFFK
• Most recently audited financial statement.
• Most recent copy of status as a tax-exempt organization indicated by section 501(c)(3) and 509 (a)(1) or (2) of the Internal Revenue Code.
